OMG HELP ME cannot install oem ipod kit...and now radio doesnt work

b4 anyone bashes me, i have searched and have not found an answer i was specifically looking for...

i got the oem ipod adaptor kit for my girlfriend and installed it with my buddy today. i did everything i was supposed to do except disconnect the negative portion of the battery.

in the process of installing, (dont remember which two wires) two wires touched and made a spark.

after the installation was complete, the ipod did not work so reinstalled the radio without the ipod interface... the radio and navigation did not work. the navigation turns on for about a minute and then turns off. for that minute the navi screen is frozen also...

we thought that a blown fuse was the cause of this bc of that spark so we replaced the fuse in the radio but that wasnt the problem...

please help me out pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Have you checked the fuses in the fuse box by the driver's feet?

The Nav issue sounds...scary.

First, I'd disconnect the battery and put your foot on the brake (to fully discharge the system.) After reconnecting the battery and checking fuses, eject the Nav disc and reinsert (nav computer is under passenger seat.) Try those steps and report back. Good luck!
