05 H/K Head unit, just bought the MINI

I just bought my 05 MCS today, as I am driving back from the dealership my radio suddenly turns off...and that it.

fuses seem fine, it just wont turn back on. all the backlighting works except the main radio screen.

any ideas as to what happened??

So the HU is now dead?
If the wiring is incorrect, the HU has been known to shut off after 20 minutes (it's a convenience feature if you want to listen to the radio without the car being on.) But it should turn back on if you push the volume (on/off) knob.
