Ipod and Sportster side by side on proclip extension mount?

Is it possible to mount a ProClip ipod dock and a Sportster 5 side-by-side on a ProClip extension plate? My wife's 07 already has a ProClip ipod dock (p/n 840653) installed, but now she wants SIRIUS. The extension plate (p/n 215397) is 6.1" wide, the Sportster 5 is 4.5" wide, and the ipod dock is about 2.5" wide. Some overhang there, obviously. I also worry that the speedo will interfere with one end or than the angle to the driver will make the devices hard to read.

The Sportster 5 threads I've found here make it look like it might be possible, but it's tough to eyeball without an extension plate in hand. ProClip doesn't know how they'll interact with the car. I'm trying for high WAF here, so I want to avoid having to swap the two units with the unplugging/replugging that would involve.
