AUX input shuts off for odd reasons

I have the AUX input with also a Ground Loop attached, I also have the DICE unit attached thru the trunk wiring.

Recently, the DICE unit stopped working completely. And attaching an Ipod show that it is not getting power to the dock cable. Ok.. so there is that issue.

So I have been using the AUX input instead with a 3.5mm cable by either pluggin it directly into my Ipod audio jack, or the output from my Sirius unit (that has Ground Loop on the power fyi).

For some reasons the AUX sometimes disappears while using it.

a) It will just disappear.
b) It will diappear if I try to CHARGE the ipod while using it. (thru a cig lighter adapter to dock connector)
c) Or just for no reason whatsoever. Like during playing.

Repeatedly turning off and on the radio will cause it to reappear.

Any idea of what is going on? Im not sure if this is associated with my DICE not working anymore either. I dissconnected and reconnected the wiring at the 'box' but that didnt fix it. Il have to pull the radio next.

Just starting to have the same problem with my aux connection. I have not yet checked the plug in the back but would be interested in any findings.

Cheers
Mr. Jim

My first thought would be a ground loop isolator, but you say you already have one...
