Jacked UP my dash w/ Cravenspeed mount

I just installed my Garmin nuvi -- MINI Mounting Kit (Gen2) from Cravenspeed.
At first I mounted it to the left of the Tach. After not liking it there I decided to have my GPS on the right of the tach. well once I removed the bracket I noticed that when you adjust the steering wheel all the way up the "R" bracket rest on the edge of the dash which left an imprint on the dash UGH!

Has/Did anyone have this problem? It seems the bracket is just a fraction too thick. I will shoot some photos tomorrow and post.

Thoughts?

Ours is like that on the Clubman. We just don't raise the steering wheel up that high.

Yeah, but a day late dollar short .

I now make sure it's not all the way up. I just wish I would have checked the clearance right after installing it. Or the instructions could have said something at least I would have had a warning. I love the mount but jeez...........
