help 07 mini S wont start

I just installed my audio system in my mini disconnected the battery tapped into the x9331 harness rear speakers to get my signal for my 4 channel im only amping the rear speakers and leaving the fronts alone


When i got everything installed i hooked up the battery and the car lights up the guages turn on when its about to start and then nothing no crank or anything



please help

does the stereo play? Sounds like a dead battery or a blown fuse to me.

Try to isolate the problem by disconnecting your new install, then go back one item at time.

The solid yellow wire in that x9331 connector goes to the starter so if you messed with that by accident the MINI isn't gonna turn over.

So, if you disconnect the X9331 connector, the car wont start? Oh ho.

So what happen was when i connected the x9331 harness back together i accidently loosened the black harness in front so i pushed on it checking all my connections and now it starts.
