Aux input - please help!

Look, I'll keep this simple. All I want is an inexpensive means of playing my iPod Touch 2G in my newly aquired UK spec, 2006, Park Lane Mini automatic.

I'm not really interested in fancy stuff like charging the iPod or having the track info., etc show on the radio. I just want to be able to plug it in and use the radio to adjust the volume.

Hopefully not too much to ask, but I've read so much that I'm completely confused as to what I need to buy.

As you've guessed, I'm in the UK. D'you know of where I can get the cable I'll need?

On a post on this forum, someone referenced this link: http://www.mossmini.com/Shop/ViewPro...eIndexID=44362 . This looked like what I suspect I'm looking for, but can it be had in the UK I ask?

I hope someone can spare the time to throw me some help as I'm totally confused!

Regards

John

Moss is a UK company & you should be able to source it there. That is the same cable that I use to play my ipod in my 2006 MINI.

It is an official MINI accessory and you can purchase it at any MINI dealership (part # 82 11 0 153 367). Some aftermarket vendors sell it as well. Try newministuff.com.
