what audio system do i have

can anybody tell by looking at this picture what audio system this is ?

No clue based on that awful pic. Does your CD player say "Boost"? Do you have tweeters in the A-pillars? If yes, than you have the HiFi audio. If not, then you have the standard Boost audio system.

yeah it says boost audio pn the top. sorry abou the pic . while im asking id like to add a 4 channel aftermarket amp and speakers anybody know the link for a how to

Standard stereo and HiFi use the same headunit, and I think it says "Boost" whether or not you have HiFi. HiFi has tweeters in the A pillars and standard does not.

I haven't seen a full how-to. Everybody seems to improvise an installation on their own car. If you have standard (non-HiFi) stereo, do a forum search on "X9331" and it will at least point you to some relevant threads.

BTW, you have a 2nd generation MINI but you posted in the 1st gen forum.

i have no tweeters in the a pillar so i thank that makes it alot easier
