looking for a head unit that has:

CD
built in Bluetooth, not blue tooth ready
preouts
Aux input
USB input
Iphone and idod ready
and maintains steering wheel controls, yes I know I will need a modual here.

There are several good units out there but most require an add on modual for just about everything.
I have already selected an alpine PDX 4.100 amp, to feed the speakers, that wil be located under the passengers seat. There are several threads of this cool location being used.
Any thouhgts, I know there is a lot of Knowledge out on this board.
Thanks

My buddy has a pioneer, forget the model number but I thought it had everything you listed, I think the bluetooth was seperate, but it came as a package deal, and the add on module for it was a bit bigger than a pack of cigs. Not too helpful of a post, but maybe look into the pioneers

Thanks,
after spending hours looking at all the stuff that is out there it looks like I will go with the pioneer deh-p710bt, unless someone here knows of any problems. I also plan on going with a pdx 4.100 amp under the front passenger seat, already have 6.5 polk components up front and thier 6x9's in the rear. have not decied on a sub as yet, but the stock system puts a lot of bass in the rear, I am hoping the new hd unit hpf will solve some of that problem. I have read some about an infity powered bass that some are using. Always looking for maore input
Thanks to all that have shared on this board from an old guy that used to play with 8 tracks

If you are still looking for a subwoofer do a search for a JL Audio Stealthbox. I have a 10" in my mini and it's like a cooper, small but impressive, haha.

thanks for the input. I just got an Infinity basslink on ebay, I have heard they work well and as I use my car as a work vehicle I can always move it out of the way when needed. It should be here middle of next week. I let you know how it sounds
