Upgrading Firmware to V32

Hi everyone.

I'm having a hard time replacing my GPS navigation firmware.
I've acquired the latest V32 from Xoutpost and popped it on a disk as an *.iso image.

From here, I have tried, unsuccessfully, to install this on my GPS system through my head unit. I thought I had the instructions on how this was done but I'm not having much luck.

Any chance I could get a link or instructions on how this can be installed? Perhaps I have it wrong.

My apologies if this topic has been beaten to death. I've tried searching but apparently I'm not finding the right threads.

Did you really mean the head unit (radio)? It should be the Nav unit under the seat.

If you have a Gen 1, the Nav unit is under the passenger seat (driver's seat for convertibles.) You can remove the map disc and insert the .iso image disc from the rear seat.

Hmmmm, any other place the nav unit could be located? It's not under either seat, nor in the back of the car in the two hidden panels.

That is the only place i know of, there is a small peice of carpet over mine on the passenger side and you have to lift it up a bit and the black unit is there, push the button and the disk will come right out

If you haven't upgraded to the V28 (V29?) which gives you Perspective mode and automatically cancels the 'Agree' screen, you're missing out!

What version cancels the "accept" screen? I updated to V32 from an older version (not sure what one, but 1/40) and I still have to click 'accept' when it boots up.

V32 certainly skips the "Accept" screen after a few seconds. Now, if I could just find a way to have it turned off as the default...

Ah maybe I just haven't left it up long enough to find out. I push the button just because it's annoying to look at

Version is displayed in the upper right corner of the Settings screen. It will display something like "4-1/91". The first digit is the hardware version (3 = CD system, 4 = DVD system). The other digits are the firmware version. The latest versions are 3-1/63 for CD system, 4-1/100 for DVD system.
