No, it is in a connector above the speedo and in the amp connector in the rear.

Unfortunately the connector in the dash is only accessible by removing the speedo and the HU.

I was hoping you wouldn't say that..

What is the color code on that one? I may just have to do it because I hate having to have the car on to have any bass..

"Elizabeth" looks like she's rocking.

I have a PDX amp also - the 2 channel 2.150 which is running the rear 6x9s and front components. I like this Class D digital amplifier a lot. However I have to do the inevitable and fit a subwoofer. Consequently am looking to replace this with the 5 channel. I'll probably get the same enclosure you have - it looks unbeatable for the money. I am not using anything near as nice as your DQL-8, I am getting away with a simple factory cable similar to this: http://www.newministuff.com/new/shop...uctshow&id=469

Irritatingly, I have a lot of interference currently. To be honest, I haven't done much to determine the cause of the interference, however the shop that supplied me the gear did warn me I would get noise from certain amps as the mini is a 'noisy car'.

As you're running a similar set-up, I was wondering did you have issues with noise and the PDX?

Thanks, Nads.

After calibrating and everything I get awesome response across the board!! Sound is crystal clear and bass is juuuuust right!

As always, feel free to ask questions!

Hey! i know I'm only 8 months late! but I just found this post....

I HAVE QUESTIONS!!

i have basically the same setup as yours, i have polks 6.5 inch component front and back (with adapter plate), I have a 5 channel amp in the same location as yours, I have a subwoofer in the same location as yours just not the same enclosure because my sub is an 8 inch Polk MM and the UrbanMini enclosure was too big for it.... so I just made my own.
I also have a 3sixty.2 in the same location as your DQL...

Now... since you had a 3sixty.1 you may know more than me about it... i think my gear is ok, but the sound is just not as clean and clear as i would like it to be... the 3sixty.2 has the channel summing feature. Do you think that would help me? the front speakers are fine but the rears sound muffled... just as the stock ones, with the same 100hz cutoff.

Sorry for the long post but I need help!!!! just give some imput, crossover points, channel summing or not, eq, time align? what should I do?

You know the 3sixty.x interface so you know what i'm talking about!

I don't think anyone is watching this thread anymore - perhaps make a post to this one: http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...-upgrades.html

Eric (aka schatzy) is a top chap and has been most helpful to me.

No worries! There is no harm in posting a link to page 1 of this thread, and a small summary also.
