New Garmin Nuvi 760 hardwired

I recently got a new Garmin Nuvi 760 and just had Eddie at 1FastMINI hardwire it into my car. I told him what I wanted and he made it happen. It looks fantastic! Like it came that way with the car. You'd never know it didn't so I wanted to show it off.

Do you have any better pictures? Decent dark ones but they do not really show how it was mounted, etc. Considering on moving mine and that would be a good solution.

Here are the pics. Unfortunately they won't tell you very much. You'll have to ask Eddie how he did it exactly. I do know he ultimately hooked it up to somewhere below the cigarette lighter, but other than that I couldn't tell you. The only place I see the wires is right there connected to the Garmin mount.

760 Mountbase

Janet,

Really like the way hardwired 760 looks.

I live in West Coast do happen to know how much 1fastmini charge for the mount base.

Thanks in advance

It's the Kuda Garmin Nuvi mount and it cost $29.50. I got it off the Kuda website. I also bought an "accessory power harness" from one of my fellow Sunshine MINI members who makes them for $20. This allows you to convert your power source into multiple power outlets.

As for how much Eddie would charge to install it, I'm not sure. I paid for several things he did for me at the same time so I'll have to check with him and see. I'll get back to you on that.

How is it attached?

How is the Kuda part attached? Is it glued on? Or double-sided tape? It looks like the 4 screw holes in the corners have no screws in them.
