Navigation iPod Slideshow?

Do all of the navigations do this or is it some sort of hack or something? Either way, I. Need. This.

In the European markets they can geta TV module as well that supports video.

We can not get that in the US, at least from the factory or the parts department. but if someone was to import the module AND have access to the programer for the computer then they may be able to get parts of it to work. THe TV would not as the European TV transmission Type and Frequencies are different and as far as i know they do not make a module with the US TV specs

There was a post over on Mini2 a few days ago that a new video input was available for the R56- there was two kits, one for cars with the existing UK TV module, and one without.

There wasn't any specifics about it (or even pictures) at the time, but they did have a video showing some playback and this looks like it.

I can't find the Mini2 thread about it, but New Mini Stuff makes these things which might work for you.

Thank you for the link there... Has anyone done this on an '08 with NAV? I see lots of these kinds of installs on cars before '08, but that was when (to my understanding) the nav was under the passenger seat.

thanks...

The 08 nav is the same as the 07 hatchback.

That kit looks interesting but with the exchange rate I'd have to pass. Would like to hear from anyone who has tried it though. It's nice to have options like those.
