Navigation & AudioAudio upgrades, bluetooth, and navigation discussions surrounding the Clubman (R55), Cooper and Cooper S (R56), and Cabrio (R57) MINIs.
The 2008 R56/55 owners manual refers to a 'separate Owners Manual' for all radio (non-nav) functions. Is there a PDF version download of the Radio Owners Manual - for non-Nav configurations? I searched here and Motoring File but only found a Gen 1 radio manual. Thanks ajm
I like PDF manuals and have also looked.
The MINIUSA.COM lounge only has the regular auto manual and my MA could not find the "radio" manual mentioned.
If someone finds a PDF then please post it.
If it not too big I will scan it when I get it and post. (If it is not illegal)
I have posted some scans of sections of the 2007 manual. Take a look at this post. The stereo is the part of the Entertainment section. However, the displays may be different if you do not have the OEM NAV unit.
Thanks for the post.
Looks like a little hands on will take care of everything to use this system. I am going to use AUX for my SKYFI3 XM player. This eliminates Delphi's "extra" antenna connection for XM SureConnect.
Does the standard 2004 Mini Cooper Radio/CD unit require a radio code to be entered if power is lost/battery disconnected before it will work again? It's common on older BMWs and Porsche units as an anti-theft device. We used to say that BMW stood for "Break My Window."
I've only had my Mini Cooper for a week but it's been driving me crazy that I can't adjust the time, radio stations, etc. THANK YOU so much for this, it is very much appreciated!
