Need some help with ICE

I have install aftermarket audio setup but using the stock Head-unit on my R56. Problem is sometimes when I start my car, the audio became mute, I can see the spectrum on my Alpine 701 running but just no sound come out. Happen on and off whenever I start my engine.

Secondly, after I shut down the engine, I found that the processor and amps are still on power until sometime after I lock my door, all the system will shut down. Is this a common behavior for the R56?

My set up is,
Stock Head-Unit
LC6 Controller
Alpine H701 Processor
Steg k2/01 x 2
Steg k4/01
Helix 3-Way component
Scanspeaks 9" SW
Van Den Hul Speaker Cable
Monster Interconnect

Hello and welcome to NAM.

I can only answer your second question. Yes, that is normal for the R56. I leave my stereo on all the time and it shuts off, along with other electronic systems, when I lock the door.

Hi, thanks there. I had the 2nd problem sorted out. Now power to the additional equipment bypass the acc. It's more stable and much better in the way that the amps and processor will not draw power from the battery when it's not in re-charge mode.

Now for the 1st problem I suspect it's something wrong with the Capacitor..
