Trying to pair Q phone

Im trying to pair my Q phone to the bluetooth, but cant get it to synch. Has anyone had similar problems? The dealer couldnt get it to synch either. They told me to get rid of the Q and buy a Blackberry!

I had a similar problem with my Q. However, it would actually pair, but when I shut off the car and started it back up again, it would search, and sometimes would never re-pair.

At the same time, my Voice Command Button never worked. I left the Mini with the dealer for a week, and they got it working, and then immediately, the Q started to work again.

In my opinion, they need to update the firmware on your car and then it should work better.

To throw a wrench into all of it, I just got the new Q9M from Verizon. The phone will pair, but I now no longer get my phone book.... sigh...

I've had my MCS for two months now and have had my moto Q paired from day one. If I use the menu options to dial I can see all of my contacts but the voice dial doesn't function properly. I'm not that concerned about that particular feature as I usually only call 2 or 3 people from my car and they are all in my last 8 calls button.

I used to have a Q and it was the worst phone I ever owned - and I've had a lot of them in 15 years. I couldn't get BT working even w/ a good headset (Cardo Scala) or my MIO GPS.

My current phone - a blackberry is excellent. If I didn't have to use it for business I'd probably get an iPhone.

I don't have any problem using my Jabra headset with the Q, but it definitely doesn't like my '08 MCS. I can do things using the phone to initiate over the cars bluetooth, but address book, voice commands, car dialing, etc. forget it. I'll be dumping the Q in the next month or so but it would have been nice if it worked until then.
