MTTS Road America not for kids

The MTTS site has recently been updated to state that the Parade lap at Road America is only open to passengers and drivers 21 years of age or older.

I have long ago registered my entire family and made plans to attend this event. My kids are very disappointed about not getting a chance to have a ride on the track, and I am less than happy as well.

Agreed, that's pretty silly. If it's how parade laps are usually done, it's at a very low speed and is much safer than driving on the road.

I'm taking the whole family and I know my young kids (9 and 7) will be disappointed! Of course, so will my wife, since she'll have to sit out with them.

What's up with that?
