I was at MTTS Boston and purchased a badge holder from the Mini accessory shop next to the parking area. After reading the installation instructions, I discovered that they gave me the wrong part. I have an 2008 Cooper S and they gave me the part for a standard Cooper. They didn't ask me what model I had and I didn't know enough to tell them. Anyone know how I can get in touch with them to exchange it?

There really isn't much to the badge holder so I can't imagine that it would matter for what model its made for (I may be wrong, I own a R52 not R56).
The badge holder goes through the opening in your grill and is held in place by screwing down the back plate.
I would imagine that by this simple install method that it would work any car with a similar grill including a BMW or Mercedes Benz.

The part they gave me doesn't have a backing plate. The instructions show two versions: one with backing plate for the S grill or the Cooper with Aero Kit and one without the backing plate for the standard Cooper grill. It might fit, but I'd rather not take the grill apart to find out ti doesn't.

My MINI appears for just a moment as they are talking about the windup key. http://video.nbc6.net/player/?id=272625
