We have about 8 to 10 MINIs heading to Fontana / Dragon the weekend of October 8th - 10th.

Plan to arrive at Fontana around 1 on Friday the 8th and depart around noon on Sunday the 10th.

We are mostly coming from Texas but we have one coming from Nebraska.

We have two THREE bedroom cabins. At this point we have one room still available in one of the two cabins!

We have two people staying in the lodge.

If interested in going and want to stay in the one last room in the second cabin please let me know!

We will be cooking community style dinner friday and saturday night back in one of the two cabins. Motoring Friday afternoon, most of Saturday and a short motoring run on Sunday morning.

This is a great time of year to head up to this part of the country. Great scenery, and perfect temps.

I hope you will consider going.

More information is on Facebook or can be found in the next few days on the MINIFunDrives.com site. On facebook search for the MINIFunDrives group.

Thanks!

i was planning on being there the next weekend after that (Oct 14 -17), but now that there be MINI peeps in town, i'll try to move my plans up a week
i just put new rubber on the kar & am ready to rip it up, i had to bail out for the first time since owning my MINI on going to the Dragon this year, so i need to get some catch up time on the Dragon

I actually put this down on the calendar back in November of last year..

I really don't want to take away any thunder for your weekend, hence the low key and lack of hype around the weekend I'll be up there with my peeps.

I am going back to the past years May Dragons for some of the routes but also working our own unquie routes too. With 8 to 10 MINIs we have a little more flexiblity I think with places we can stop.

I have a room reserved at Fontana for the MINI Awakes the Sleeping Dragon weekend, Oct 22 - 24. It goes for $129 and is one of the fireplace rooms on the backside of the pool. I am going to have to cancel my trip because of work. :( If anyone wants it, send me an e-mail and call Fontana. I will have to cancel by next Sunday, the 17th.
