Anybody want a river trip?

EDITED by MattMan

WE HAVE A RESERVATION FOR RIVER RAFTING!!

For River Rafting, go here

http://www.moabadventurecenter.com/trips/rafting/pm.php

Or call 435-259-7019 for reservations. MAKE SURE TO SAY YOU'RE WITH AN "ORGANIZATION" AND THEN "MUTA"

This is being done SAT OCT 27th for the PM float. THE FLOAT GOES FROM 11 AM to 4 PM

Cost is $45 for adults and $35 for Youth (ages 5-16)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Moab is on the Colrado river and they offer day trips on rafts (raft down, vehicle back) from there. Is anyone interested in doing that? I know it would take out a Mini drive somewhere, but you could get one in before the sun went down and still make it for coctails and dinner. Eh?

This is one option we are currently looking into. I will try and assign someone from our region to look into group rates for a river trip if people want.

Ok, I need a start to get a head count of those interested in a river run. I've done the Moab float a few times and it's pretty good. They've got a few "white-water" sections, but for the most part it's pretty tame. I wish we had all week, otherwise, I'd love to do Cataract Canyon, buy it's a multi-day thing, plus it's some of the meanest rapids in the country.

Post if you're interested in a one day float down the Colorado.

Plan on $30-$50 per person.

Definitely would like to do this if it is on Friday or Saturday. There would be two of us.

I'm definitely interested, especially if no drives are missed.

Most likely you'll have to skip out on a drive. There will be morning, afternoon and evening drives planned out Friday, Sat and Sun. So if you decide to raft, mt. bike or hike, you'll have to miss a run or two. But hey, it's Moab, there's no shame in actually doing the things that made it famous.

We're interested (2). After all I started this thread. We'll leave Thursday or Friday. I get back from Portland Wednesday.
