MITM4 - MINIFunDrives come to MITM!

Yes, the rumor is true. I guess that makes it a fact. Those crazy Texans who run MINIFunDrives ( www.MINIFunDrives.com ) and www.Facebook.com/MINIFunDrives are coming back to MITM4 again this year. And whaddayaknow, they are having a ride. Here is the call:
  • Friday AM, August 7th, leaves at 10 am from the parking structure
  • Ride is to Turquoise Lake, near Leadville
  • Ride is about an hour out, then lunch, then an hour back. Allow 3 hours give or take. Will stop in Leadville to pick up lunch
  • The 'Leadville - Turquoise Lake Fun Drive will be led by Ronald Watt. All are welcome to join in or attend.
  • As always, MINIFunDrives are held for the benefit of a charity. This year, the beneficiary is the Rocky Mountain Alley Cat Alliance. To raise funds, we have created a VERY limited supply of t-shirts which will be sold at a markup from cost. The amount we collect above cost will go, 100%, to the Alley Cat Alliance. See www.RMACA.org for more info.
  • Shirts can be purchased in advance by sending a note to MITM@MINI5280.org. We will then return to you a payment form which must accompany your funds when you arrive. If we run out of your size, we will take your order and your payment and ship your shirt to you.
Want a beautiful ride and a beautiful picnic spot? Take this ride. You can find more information and pictures at http://www.coloradobicyclerides.com/...uoiseLake.html or by googling.

Watch the Tote Board by the Host Tent on the parking structure for more info. But this is all you need. See you Friday AM.

Jonathan and Ron

Cats and MINIs - two of my favorite things! I'll have to think about this.

Just see me

Rick or Ronald Watt when you arrive. There is no cost, but it is a pitch-in.
