Okay all. I signed up today and booked my hotel. Who's heading up on Wednesday and what times? I can make the trip on my own, but it's so much more fun with fellow MINI and Mini owners.

Jayme - I'll be heading up via Squaw Pass and Loveland Pass. I'm guessing I'll leave about noon. We could all meet at the Stegosaurus lot at 12:00 PM.
Interested?
We expect to have the sag wagon there by 3 pm. Setup is quick since we have a plan that has worked for a few years now. Tents, buckets, water, tables, chairs, and electricity.
We are glad to have your help....and it usually goes very fast.
Don't forget to bring a 6 pak of your favorite Colorado Microbrew...MITM organizers have the big farm trough and 50# of ice on order...for the evening sit-in and brewswap.
Please join us.

but we are getting started on Wednesday. Note that on Thursday is the MINIFunDrives Spaghetti dinner, Friday is the BBQ in Dillon, and Saturday the sit down with prizes.
So we have the trough and the ice. Whomever shows up brings a 6 pak of their favorite Colorado Microbrew. Remember, Colorado produces more microbrew than any other state. So we drink it.
But there will also be brewswapping on Thursday night too.....

See our local MINIFunDrives coordinator, Ronald Watt, for information on the Spaghetti Dinner. There is also a MINIFunDrive to Turquoise Lake on Friday AM...a nice luncheon drive it is.
Check-in begins at 8 am Thursday. Our crack staff (not Sandy Crack Staff) will be there to fix you up and all that. On Wednesday night they are still getting warmed up in the brewswap...

Where is that new event listed?
And registration officially "opens" on Thursday morning, right?
I'm going to aim for meeting up with y'all at Noon... however, we'll see if I can get the rig packed and the baby plus hound loaded and headed up by then. I'd say the likelihood of my meeting up with you is around 30-50%.. but I'm going to give it a try!
I still am not 100% cartain if i will have that day off but i am planing on trying to go up for set up. So i hope to see other at stegasaurus at 12pm. I may have my son with me. He is comming up Friday to spend the day and will be doing some drives with Baby. This is a strange and full week for us. He is going into the army and was due to leave in October but it was pushed up to leaving the 9th. So all of you will see someone else driving my car. Yes he is very comfortable driving Baby even with her blue flowers but he did pick out the rims. See everyone soon.

The Schomp guys aren't leaving until Wed afternoon, so if anyone is going earlier... LET'S GO!!!! I'll have a car & am up for any time! Keep me posted please!
In fact, we are still short a few tents. Please let me or Rick know where we can pick it up and we would love to borrow. We appreciate your support.

about 1:00 or so, no sooner. We plan to have our crew there by 3 pm for setup. Prior to that we will not have the deliveries, our truck, our portapotty, etc. If you arrive prior to us, that is cool. We have our site plan and map all done and this should go rather quickly.

So driving up we exited I-70 on to US 6 for Loveland Pass. At the bottom of the hill we zipped passed a fuel truck without a thought. Once on the other side we were passed by a fire truck & police and looking over our shoulder - a huge cloud of black smoke.
The fuel truck rolled and caught fire closing US 6 for the rest of the day. Driver escaped but I'm sure he will think twice the next time he thinks he can motor with the MINIs.
Wow, I can't believe you saw the truck roll behind you. I'm just glad to hear that everyone is alright, and yes that guy will definitely think twice before messing with minis. =P
On a happier note, I went to the Mini Coopers of Iowa fall event where a woman renewed her wedding vows to her husband. That was really cool. They did it right down by the riverside with about 17 other mini's around.
