Lease takeover or sale: '14 Mini Clubman S JCW exterior pkg 6spd man
Year: 2014
Make: MINI
Model: Clubman
Price: $20802
Mileage: 15153
Color: White Silver
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): Midwestern
I'm trying to see if anyone here would want to take away this awesome Mini Clubman S from me....
Reason being is that I am being impatient and wouldn't want to wait for my lease to end in November because I want to get a '16 Golf R.
I'm paying $404/month for the lease (no money down) 3yr 10k miles/yr lease term. The current payoff is $20,802 with a residual value of $18,889. The lease will end November 19, 2016. I am willing to pay the lease transfer fee if you would like to take over the lease instead.
I've attached the configuration sheet and it will tell you all the details about the car i.e. pkg, option information
To give a little summary about the car: It currently has 15,153 miles on it and has a 6spd manual transmission. It is very clean and no mods were ever performed on the car, except that I plastidip the factory wheels which can be easily removed. I have extra set of winter whees/tires so the factory wheels/tires have roughly 5-6k mies on them and in excellent condition. The car has never been tracked although spirited driving have been performed from time to time but nothing crazy.
The paint is very clean with no dings or major scratches. Interior is very clean as well, Weather tech mats front and rear and a non-smoker car.
Some pictures of the car below. I will provide more pics later as I do not have photos of the interior.
Please PM me for any questions.
I will sell to local buyers only (Illinois - chicago burbs).
Thanks for looking!
Mic

What's the attraction of the Golf? Seems like the Clubman is the better vehicle.

The Mini is a really fun car but the Golf R is in a different league IMO even when compared to a JCW.
Thanks for looking!

No sunroof, :( no wing :( no climate control :( Vinyl interior:( you may be in it until the lease is done. Does the R have a 2.0T? Had a turbo beetle for a few months until I went back to a Mini Cooper because I missed it.

Don't knock that "vinyl" interior. I love it. Its super resilient to whatever you can throw at it. Spilled coffee, dirt, baby vomit? Not big deal, it just wipes up.

P. S. You obviously do not know a lot about the Golf R 😜

Yup, very little maintenance... just wipe with a wet cloth!

My local tuner also does Vw's. He claims he can tune a gti to get r horsepower. You could tune your S to get R type stats. Then have it detuned when lease is up. And yes, an R is on my list on possible nexts. Beautiful car. My ex got the gti in the divorce

Yes, is pretty easy to tune a GTI to get R HP. I'm also looking at the Audi S4 and S3 and BMW 335i M Sport 😉

The Golf R is an amazing car. Really solid feeling with decent compliance and plenty of go. I'm sure you'll be really happy with that car. And I'm sure someone will find a good home for your Clubbie -- there's nothing like them and not likely to be any time soon.
Good luck.
