2003 Mini Cooper S

Year: 2003
Make: MINI
Model: Hardtop
Price: $6995
Mileage: 103000
Color: Green
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing

Hi,

I am currently looking at selling my beloved 2003 Mini Cooper S, and seeing what interest I can generate as of now. I say this, because I currently am out of the country for another 3 months and won't be returning till late November. The car right now is parked in the garage back at home with a car cover over it. . The reason why I am looking to sell, is that I need to look for something a bit more practical for the next few years of my life.. can't really move across the country (easily) in a Mini.

Enough about that - The car - I am the 3rd owner and purchased it back in the spring of 2010. Through the years it has been stellar and I've loved every single minute of driving in it. I've done a bit of work (which I'll include below) on it myself. Meticulously kept up the maintenance, oil changes every 5,000 miles with 5w30 Full synthetic. I obtained the car approx. at 57,000 and it's sitting approx. 103,000. Maintenance done on all fluids when needed and scheduled. I would go into more detail, but I don't have the records in front of me. Just put new tires on; Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season (approx. 5,000 miles on them). I'll put more details later.

Work done/Add-ons:

- alta V2 Cold air intake (still have oem) - Installed professionally in shop
- Borla Cat-back Aggressive Exhaust System - Installed Professionally in shop (still have oem exhaust)

Aesthetics:

- Tinted windows by All PRO (Raleigh, NC) all windows (excluding front windshield) to legal limit in NC (35%)... once I can remember the specific type of tinting film i will add it.. drawing a blank!
- m7 Carbon Fiber shift **** (still have the original)
- OZ Ultraleggera 17'' rims (originally silver/platinum) - Professionally powder coated by Powder coat USA to MATTE BLACK
- Black aero front grille (have oem grille)
- Taillight tint film (easily removable)
- Blackout Beltline from outmotoring (removable)
- I have plastidipped the door handles, gas cap, headlight rings, and side markers black (all of that is removable - as I have removed and redone it a few times) - was trying to get rid of all the chrome haha!
- De-badged the cooper s logo (have the lettering - all you need is double sided tape)

Little add-ons:
- Front rubber floor mats, the mini oem ones
- a cup holder add on
- an added auxillary input wired directly to the stereo; the input comes out of the glove box (i've always just had a long auxiliary cord running out).
- I've removed the outmotoring and m7 stickers.

Inclusions: any of the oem parts you want, a set of 2 keys, owners manual

Like I said above, I am seeing what interest I can generate on my car at the moment! Hopefully by the time I am back in the States (late Nov), I'll have someone interested! I hate to see this go, and have loved it for all 5 years, but right now I need something a bit more practical haha!

Location - Durham, NC
Price - $6,995 OBO

2003 Mini Cooper S (Manual)

I would be interested in a few of the mods if you choose to part out some things. The Borla cat back for example, and I'm from Upstate, SC which should make things a bit easier.

I'll definitely keep you posted if I decide to go the parting out route! It won't be for a while, but I'll let you know.

Thanks! I hope I can find em a good home by the time I get back in the States!!

I very recently had to move to Georgia, about a month before I could buy my mini. I miss the upstate badly. Especially since I'm living in sticks right now for the next 18-36 months, then I'm coming home to Greenville. If you ever thought the edges of Simpsonville were country, come visit me. Closest town has literally one traffic light, and we only have DSL.....

Here working for a automotive supplier. Plant Manager is a very good family friend and I'm taking advantage of the opportunity to get some experience and contacts before I come home. Not an ideal situation, but priceless experience and opens many more options for the future. We actually make the bumpers for the X3 and X5 being built up there in Greer.

Hey! Just send me a pm and we can get to negotiating and I can answer any other questions you may have. My responses may be a bit delayed, since I am 14 hours a head of you!

I can look on my computer hard drive to see if I have any, I am not sure I do though..

If I find em, I'll post em. The interior color is anthracite.

2003 Mini Cooper S (Manual)

Interested in selling the catback and intake now? Might be easier to sell at a lower price point

I would be if I had the time or money to get them switched out. You do have a good point!
I am just real busy with trying to finish up my undergraduate degree...
