FS: 2007 CR/B MCSa (AR)

I'm looking to pick up a new car, so one of our three has to go. Regrettably, it's the MCS. This car was bought new in January of this year. It currently has 14,000+ mi - what can I say? I love to drive it. I'm apparently an easy driver though, because it hasn't even yet called for its first service, which is around 4800 mi from now according to the OBC. I'm currently averaging around 32 mpg due to my driving habits, but it can easily hit 35+.

Here are the options:
MCS Automatic Chili Red with Black Roof and Black Bonnet Stripes

Grey/Carbon Black Leatherette

Cold Weather Package:
-Heated Mirrors and Washer Jets
-Heated Front Seats

Premium Package:
-Multi-Function Steering Wheel
-Sports Leather Steering Wheel
-Moonroof
-Automatic AC

Tire Pressure Monitor

Piano Black Interior

Front Fog Lamps

Xenon Head Lamps

Total MSRP in January: $25,750

Modifications:
-MINI "Star Blaster" wheels were replaced with 17" black Drag DR-19's, and the fun-flat tires were replaced with Nitto Neogens. The tires still have a good amount of tread remaining. I can provide pictures of each tire's tread wear.
-Front and rear Mudflaps were added in February.
-Nic II was badged on the boot and "Actual Size" was put on the boot window. These can be removed if requested.

The car has two minor flaws, both resulting from the same jackass in a dumptruck I happened to be behind a few weeks ago. A rock hit the bonnet near the window on the driver's side, then ricocheted and hit the front belt line. You can see pictures of this down in the pictures section.

I'm asking $23,000 OBO. E-mail me at najak82@hotmail.com or call 479-477-0434 to arrange a time to come see, test drive, or for me to bring it there if you're close. I'm located in Dardanelle, AR, zipcode 72834 if you want to map it.

Defects:

(as seen from the front)

Original Window Sticker

Price adjusted to a more realistic $23,000. Thanks for the interest!

Hah, I actually had planned to pull the stubby for the new car and replace the OEM. I guess I'll just leave the stubby on there though. So if you buy the car, you'll get the stubby and the original OEM antenna!

Hmm, lots of folks looking, but nada replies yet. Price too high? Location too remote? Probably the latter.

What dealership did you purchase the vehicle at? Does the car come with 2 sets of wheels or just the black ones? Are you located anywhere near beaver lake?

I purchased the car from Roadshow BMW/MINI in Memphis, TN. The car only comes with the black wheels. When I purchased them, I sold the original "star blasters." As for Beaver Lake, considering I haven't heard of it, I guess I'm nowhere near it. My zipcode here is 72834 if you want to map it.

We've been looking locally for an R56 MCSa with similar features to yours, but our limit is around 20K, which is quite a bit lower than you're asking. The good news is that it's definitely a seller's market right now with the rising gas prices, so you should be able to find a buyer quickly.

Good luck!

Thanks for the positive words. It went into the state paper this past weekend and I had someone stop by today to test drive. She was very impressed, and it'll come down to whether she can work out the financing with her bank. There definitely is some interest, even at this price and this location! lol

Gah, I'm in Fort Smith, AR, and I'm wanting this badly even though it's CR and not LaB. The price is a little too high for me though.

Good luck!

I totally understand the pricing. You've only had it for 7 months, etc. However, I'm a measely secretary right now, and I think I can finance close to $20k but probably not right on it. An aunt of mine might be able to spot a little more but not by much.

Is it possible for a test drive though? I want to see what the damage is up close.

You'd be welcome to test drive it whenever you want. I could either meet you in Dardanelle or Russellville, or you could come here to the house. Or, a friend and I are going to the Altus Grape Festival tomorrow. I could bring the car with me if you wanted to meet there. It's about halfway between here and Fort Smith. Give me a call and let me know. 479-477-0434

By the way, if I get some good news back on an exam I took yesterday for a job possibility (and good news on the exam would greatly improve that possibility) I would consider dropping the price to $22k. I owe around $27k on the car so I'll be paying off the difference, hence the problem with negotiating down too much.
