(SOLD) 04 Chili red/black Mini Cooper S JCW 19K CT

SOLD

Hi, I have a new lease car coming, so it's time to list my 2004 MCS JCW for sale. The car is located in Lyme, CT, and has 37K miles on it. It is no longer under warranty, but has factory maintenance prepaid to 50K miles. It is red/black with 17" PIAA wheels, wide 215/45/17 tires (tires have perhaps 30% tread remaining). Also included are winter dedicated steel wheels with snows. The car has minor dings commensurate with a 33K mile car, but paint and interior are in great shape.

Options:
6 speed manual
color: Chili red with black roof and black stripes
JCW Kit #1599 Dealer Installed
JCW 210 HP Update Kit (larger injectors and tune)
ATLA cold air intake
Remus Exhaust
Aero kit front bumper
Black panther/black leatherette/anthracite dash
Cold weather package
Sport package
MF steering wheel
HK sound system
no sunroof (track folks love this)
PIAA fogs
PIAA 17" wheels in gunmetal from edgeracing, Toyo non runflat wheels, (BMW mobility kit in trunk)
Kenwood Sirius tuner interfaced into stock Head unit
updated 2006 head unit that plays MP3 CD's
16" winter dedicated steel wheels with snow tires
Cooper mats (new in box, not used)
Rubber winter mats
Euro parcel shelf (to the driver's left) , cubby pouch, mini fini cup holder.
Ultimate pedals aluminum pedals
Non smoker

This car stickered at $30,065.00, and was purchased Sept. 13 2004. I am the second owner, I have put about 12K miles on it, it's been great. I get around 27mpg even with occasional spirited driving.

KBB puts private sale values of the car from a low of $18,800 to $21,535 (which does not count extras like winter wheels, sirius, aftermarket wheels, etc). I would like to get $19K for this car for a quick sale. I have the title, no complications with selling. Please PM me for more details. Pics to follow.

Thanks!

Lyme Ct is kinda far for me. But I was curious about the dings. Are they dents? Scratches? Any rust?

No rust, some minor stone chips no bigger than a pin head on the front of the car. One small ding the size of a penny total on the driver's door. It look like something pointed about 2mm across hit and made a minor dent (the actual depression is about 2mm) and the resultant waves around it are the size of a penny. That’s it and that's all ;)

OK, factory maint means no paying for routine services. And for those that don't know, the JCW engine kit was a 6K kit!

Cool, pm me for details. I work in Old saybrook, a 1/2 hour closer if you're coming during the week. One good thing about the leatherette, it is indestructable. There are no issues with it at all (holes, stains, etc.) and you don't have to be as careful with it as you do leather or cloth.

Seems a good deal, no? Most other JCW's are 5-6K more? AND winter wheels? Somebody steal this baby ;)

Checking into warranty tomorrow, I just discovered it's 50K 4 years whichever comes first. Car was purchased Sept. 2004, so technically it's got warranty until Sept 2008, although it appears that it's inservice date for some reason was April 04. Bummer, but I am checking into it.

I had Mvn_Esq from NJ come by (Thanks Mark) and he is going to have first dibs for the next few days.

So, *bump*. I just gave her a bath and detailed it inside, it's making me very sad to see her go, however the BMW is coming Thursday of this week and I don't want to keep two cars.

Thanks
