It's time for me to move on to other projects, so I'm offering my 2002 dark silver/black, TurboKompressor MCS for sale. It just ticked over 30,000 miles.
Helix short shifter
Perfect Power camber plates
Mini Mania billet pedals
Koni Yellow shocks
HR front springs (I have the rears)
H-Sport rear springs (I have the front)
H-sport competiton front sway bar. (I have the rear).
Pioneer head with XM reciver.
There's probably more I can't think of right now.
I have almost all of the original parts: exhaust, pulleys, clutch, flywheel, injectors, etc.
The good:
This is a fast Mini. I've spent several years putting together a reasonable autocrossing suspension, so it handles extemely well. The motor is still fresh, just broken in. With attention to RPM's it's very strong.
The body is nearly pristine.
The not-so-good:
If I were keeping it I'd have it retuned. There is some pulsation at certain boost levels that can take some getting used to. A reputable local tuner here in western PA said he could make it run like a raped ape (safely) for ~ $1k. I seriously considered doing it before selling, but it would be counterproductive for me right now. Don't get me wrong, I'd drive this car to Barrow Alaska tomorrow, it could just be a bit better if you wanted it to be.
It's loud. I think it sounds like the dog's danglies, but it's loud. It's not wake-the-neighbors loud from the outside, but it is loud inside. Some dynamat or a resonator would cure that easily.
The camber plates pop when turning (no biggy, just a noise). The wheels have some curb rash. There are a few interior rattles.
I think it's a steal at $15,000. There are pics in my gallery. Ask me any questions you might have.

Pics in the Gallery? Nice setup. Do you have anymore pics? SOme of the engine, exterior, interior? I am intersted. Wouldn't mind taking a drive down south from PA. Who would you have tune it?
