Thanks! I think it's a very pretty car, but I might be a little biased

Good catch on the tranny. I forgot to mention that. It is a 5 speed manual.

So a quick search makes it look like you've got a Scion Xb to trade? I like those a lot, but I would be more interested in something much less expensive - I'm trying to replace the Mini with 2 cars (1 porsche boxster, and 1 inexpensive winter beater). Since the xb is not a boxster, it would have to fulfill the role of "inexpensive winter beater" and I don't think it'd be in your interest to give the Scion away for what I want to spend on a beater.

So what I'm saying is, if I was going to do a trade, I'd be looking for something like "a car" + $10 to 12k. Although I would happily take your Scion and $10k, I don't think that'd be a very good deal for you

Well good luck. It shouldn't be too hard to sell the Scion, they're a pretty popular car.

I've got this thing priced at pretty much the trade in value, and I'm going looking at cars this weekend. If anyone is interested, please speak up - the car might not be around much longer

The bummer is that I've decided that it might be a little too immature - even for ME - to buy a boxster at this point in my life (with a new baby and all). So I'll be looking at slightly less exciting vehicles

Yes, it is still mostly for sale. It is a great car. Every time I drive, I think, "why the heck would I sell this thing?" So, I'm thinking very seriously about buying a new Mini, and so I'm not sure that I want to sell the SSRs anymore

Are you local to the Fishkill/Poughkeepsie area? You could take a look some weekend, shoot me a PM.
