Coming up first winter track day at HPR, east of Byers, Colorado.
If the weather holds I'm planning on a potential day of lapping for me and my MINI.
Winter rules are the same equipment needed for lapping, helmet, YR 2000 or better recommended, suggested long cotton pants and long sleeve cotton shirt.
Winter hours on Saturday 10-4:30 (track hot) cost $100. no half day price.
Track opens at 9, with a meeting at 9:30 or 9:45. See link below.
They will cancel the lapping day if they do not get 10 participants.
I will not sign up on the HPR site until at least Tuesday, watching the weather. If it is in the 50s and partly sunny, I plan on going over for laps.
It is a great track, did you go as a student with Mike P. as your instructor?
Don, no. Richard and myself were trackside shooting images all day.
However we did get to sit in on the classroom session; we both take alot in about the correct driving line.
