Did we get permission for the North Group meet-up location? Don't want the security chasing us away again...

Oh come on. A little smoozing goes a long way. If not, think of the stories you will have to add to last year's.

As we did last year MINI5280 will be holding a raffle to generate a cash donation to the hospital. We will raffle off three items:

One - $300 Discount Tire Gift Card
Two - Ridemakerz Custom Remote Control MINI

Three chances to win, $10/ticket, need not be present to win and all proceeds will go to the Children's Hospital.

Rick will be posting details on how to buy tickets using PayPal.

A nice group of MINIs from the North and South.

Sorry we skipped out on lunch and the Broncos, but other stuff called.

That wind sure is a pain in the back-side, now it's cloudy up in our area.

Let's do this again....

Don

Pictures will be available later.

Raffle Winners and donations to Children's Hospital

Thanks to all who purchased raffle tickets ahead of time and right before the drawing outside Children's Hospital in the 100 mph wind. The winners:
  • Remote control MINI (black), courtesy of Ride Makerz -- Rick Gonzales
  • Remote control MINI (red), courtesy of Ride Makerz -- Derek Cloud
  • $300 Discount Tires Gift Card, courtesy of MINI5280 -- Patricia Suiter
MINI5280 matched the $400 raised for the raffle and donated $800 directly to The Children's Hospital Foundation. Thank you for your support of the raffle and your MINI loads of toys!

The kind folks at Ride Makerz (www.ridemakerz.com) donated six remote control MINIs, four of which will go to future drivers, currently Children's Hospital patients.

Ben,
Sorry, I didn't get where live in the Springs. I'm out in Falcon, east of Colo. Spgs. I also heard you asking about DIY's? I think there is talk about having another Garage Day in Jan or Feb. at Import Auto Technicians in the Springs. Good times!

Bryan,

I'm just south of you, off of Constitution, East of Powers.
A DIY day would be fun. I have quite a list of things I need to have looked at with the car, so those might need taken care of prior, but I also have a few performance parts I bought and didn't feel like paying double to have installed in Germany...

Anytime you feel like going for a drive, let me know. Always down for a romp behind the wheel.

Ben
