Favorite MINI Colors!

Hi all,

Just thought it would be fun to get a list of everyone's favorite colors (other than your own, of course).

For example we have AND absolutely love Electric Blue but two more favorites are Purple Haze and Hot Chocolate.

My car is Black-eyed Purple (Purple Haze in the USA only), but I would have liked it with silver stripes and maybe a silver roof.

A saw a new MCS with non-metallic BRG last week in Edmonton Alberta. I must say, I really liked it.

So we all know and agree that Chili Red is the fastest but for detailing nothing beats the results of a Jet Black. However if you are OCD like me Jet Black will absolutely drive you nuts so my favorite detailing color is Nightfire Red and/or Horizon Blue. I've never done an Astro Black but it might be fun since it is metallic and it isn't quite black.

My 3rd favorite is the Astro Blue, with 1st being Indi Blue and 2nd Chili Red. Just need to add the carbon fiber to BLU-BY-U to finish him off.

EB and white. Also think the space blue and BRG really look great on these cars. Our first MINI was CR/W, timeless combo.

I realy liked the Hot Orange untill I got the Liquid Yellow.
The LY is easy to clean & stays looking that way for a while. I still wouldn't mind having one of each.

Although I love my Nightfire Red - I also like Liquid Yellow with a white roof, BRG with white roof, and white with black stripes or black with white stripes....

What is it about colors that make us like them?

My fav is Electric Blue and I could go either black or white roofed on that. Since they retired that color before I got Gloria, Pepper White/Black. I also like the Silver/Black (my first MINI was that color). I really liked Velvet Red too.

Dark Silver under a White roof. Obvious huh!

#2 would be Laser Blue with a Laser Blue roof.

#3 Chile Red / Chile Red (might even be #1) in this combo.

Well, my all time favorite is mellow yellow, but my other color would be the new horizon blue. I built a new MCS cabrio in that color today and it was outstanding!

I have a PH MINI, 2! Funny how u say u wish u had a silver roof--b4 I bought Scoopie, I configured one w/a silver roof/mirror caps and was gonna order it when I got 2 the dealership. However, when they showed me Scoopie (PH all over), I'm glad I didn't order! Plus, I wasn't 2 keen on waiting months 2 get the configured model (Scoopie had everything I wanted!), so I purchased her off the lot.

I saw a Sparkling Silver Cabrio Sidewalk over the wkend, and thought it would be the perfect complement 4 Scoopie! I hadn't seen that color ANYWHERE else b4.

A properly shined and swirl-free Purple Haze MINI is indeed a sight to behold, but I'm with Kathy on this - nothing beats Chili Red (and it's faster too!)
