For those of you who enjoy othe types of cars beyond the MINI or Mini, remember that August 1st (tonite) is the first Saturday and so it is that tonite is this months Golden Super Cruise www.GoldenSuperCruise.com This is a monthly event that has hundreds, almost thousands of collector and fanatic cars cruising up and down the streets of South Golden, CO.
See details on the website but come on out, bring a chair, and enjoy the show. Dogs allowed on leashes, CAYA.
Would you believe me if I told you there were 1000 vehicles on display in Golden last night?
2000?
Maybe 3000? Whatever the number, they went on for hours and hours. We spent over 4 hrs there and they were still going strong. Quite an impressive display.
There are two Cruises left: Sept 5 (Labor Day Weekend) and Oct 3.
The 200 or so images I got were from 4 pm to 4:45. At that point the battery on my camera died. I got no more. We left at 8 pm and they were still coming, not to mention all the ones that were parked and never moved to the street.
I think 2000 is conservative, honestly.

Perhaps the club should make this a Saturday eve outing. How many months do they run into the Fall?
