But when I got to the Hyatt, there was a bit of confusion as to where to meet. I drove around the area a little bit then saw a bunch of MINIs headed towards a parking lot. Got my book stamped and off I went.
It was a great day but just as I hit NJ on the way home the f*%&in' SES light comes on . I hope it's not serious. Gotta call my dealer and set up an appointment.
Flex... You must have been parked on the infield! I was in the outfield... I saw at least four GP edition MCS's. There are only, like, 200 in the country i think! Pretty good representation a MTTS!
Did you see me there? I was the guy with the Mini. ha ha

Gotta say the MiniUSA did a great job with this entire event. We only did the JC to Lime Rock leg but it was a blast. I loved the look on the cops face as dozens of Mini's went flying into the Holland Tunnel to NYC. Cruising up the West Side Highway with no traffic. What a blast.
We took the off-off-beaten path by going up the Taconic to 44. A nice twisty 4 lane parkway with no traffic, just a few Lamborghini's in tow but they too were going to Lime Rock.
Once at Lime Rock, a great day, a great end to a fantastic event. Hundreds and hundreds of Mini's everywhere. Well done Mini USA

We were one of the last stragglers in your group. CR/W, "Clemson" on rear.
Great drive up the pkwy to 44. Much better than DC to JC. Nice to meet you and all the others on the leg.
Our route - Holland Tunnel to West Side to Henry Hudson to Saw Mill to Taconic to Rt 44 to Rts 343, 41, and 112 with a backroads shortcut thrown in at speeds that I cannot mention on a public forum. 3 brave or foolish drivers followed me. I saw a lot of grins. One who was not grinning was the cop on the upper West Side who had just gotten out of his obscured car with his radar gun in hand when we buzzed by without even lifting off the gas.
Unfortunately, I forgot to charge the digital camera. I am looking forward to seeing more pictures. Thanks for those who have already posted.
I know the feeling. I did Indy to NJ, and I still wish I had more time. Even with the rain in VA, it was still great. Very well done indeed! I will be keeping my MINI waxed for the next trip!

We only travelled with other MINI folks for 2 days, but it was a little depressing on the drive home and not seeing my mirror filled with MINIs, and none in front.
Next year.

It was nice to meet you guys... I'm going to have to join a local club and/or do one of the other Mini gatherings. When is the "Mini's On Top" run????

when i was a kid this was my dream car. still is. BMW M1.
in a word....sexy.
for me...this is the car of the show. 928 porsche...the only car i know of that has a fat ass.
i tried to talk to the owner of this bike at least 8 times and every time i went to the bike i just missed him.
this BMW had a cf hood that i thought was beautiful. the car itself was perfect...not a scratch on the thing.
GTO!!!!!
twin charged Helix mini (right?). gotta love it.
i took this by accident but, it came out kinda cool, no?
What is a BMW 666 csi? A really big 12 cylinder crammed into a 6 series?
You must be too young to remember the movie "The Omen" in which the child with the birthmark resembling "666" is the devil incarnate. There is no official BMW 666; it is someone's idea of the devils Bimmer.
Oh well **** then. I remember the Omen well enough (and not the new one either). I guess I was just hoping they were being a little more creative than that. Something like a bored and stroked 5.0 V12. Oh well.
