The local NM MINI club is hosting a half-day at the race track (Sandia Motor Speedway) for all MTTS participants. Here is the link for more information:
The track is challanging with 14 corners in 1.6 miles (it looks like a rabbit's face with long folded ears...) Anyway, even if you don't want to drive any more, there will be activities and of course a chance to relax and talk about the drive through exciting western New Mexico!
On Friday morning MTTSers can join us for a rally up to the top of Sandia Crest, which is a 13 mile climb of 4000ft.
Anyway, we are all looking forward to seeing all MTTS participants here at "Mile High Albuquerque" where your MINI has 20% less horsepower than normal (! woohoo)
