MTTS- who's on the road already?

It's the time of Wi-Fi someone could be on-line. Or almost every hotel has connectivity in the rooms now. With 174 cars doing the entire trip from places like FL, AL, NY, NJ, & HI there have got to be someone already on their way to Monterey. I really want to know how to get your Mini from HI to Monterey. It's the journey people I want to hear about the journey so far.

Where are you now?

I'm at home in San Diego pacing back and forth waiting on Friday.impatient

I'm at home, up the I-5 from you, in Norwalk, posting a reply to someone from SD.

I'm leaving here on Friday also, driving up to the Central Valley to hook up with my best friend and other MidCal MINIacs.

You staying in Salinas?

Hey Everybody,

Will be on the road this morning, catching up with Barry of MC2 and other MINIs coming south from Washington . Will be going all the way to Lime Rock, CT.
Will be away from the homestead for 29 days, you think I'll still have a job when I get back?

Can't wait!!!
Keith

That seems to be the route. No to Salinas, we'll be staying in Marina. It's closer to Monterey. I'm still not driving soon enough for me.:impatient

Me I''m on the road. Now I'm in Los Altos for the night with friends. The one thing that's surprised me so far is that I didn't see a single Mini driving north on the 5 this evening. I have to assume that everyone is in front of us since we started out in the deep south, San Diego, at 1:00 today. Anyhow hope to see you in the corral tomorrow.

1 o'clock!
No wonder you didn't see anyone!
We're all here in Salinas. See you at the track.

A bunch of Vegas MINIs left yesterday (Friday) morning. Make sure to say "Hi" if you see those SCMC people. We're a freindly bunch and usually only bite if you ask us to.
