How many of you Mini nuts are going to this?
Got my material in themail from Mini USA the other day, made Hotel reservations in nearby Santa Cruz (whew! Its expensive around there), and got my DFIC on except for the diverter (which I hope to see soon).
Saturday and Sunday's events look great at Laguna Seca, and I've heard there will be a few of our NAM vendors at the "vendor" area on both days.
Monday starts the great cruise from Monterey to Santa Barbara, near where I live, and then on to Las Vegas on Tuesday.
Hope to see some of Mini people there as well.
Pablo

Last 2 legs for us...DC to NJ to CT. Not sure of route on either leg. It will be tough to have fun on a holiday weekend between any of these cities. But we can cause a MINI traffic jam
All NAMers should have a sign on their MINI that has our respective names so we know who we are having fun with!
I'll be starting in Indy, doing a lap around the racetrack, and heading east.
Oh if I only knew there would be a lap of the Indy race track. Last Friday my wife & I took her brothers ashes to Indy. That was his last wish, we snuck him over to the inside of turn 2 with a good view of the track. He'll enjoy seeing you MINI's drive by. He was a real car guy. Wish we could be there doing a lap with you, but I believe the sign up time is over for MTTS.
First part of the Albuquerque to Amarillo leg, then back home again. The local club is leading a side-tour from and Mini dealership up to the top of nearby Sandia Peak that Friday morning. This will be Foamy's first multi-Mini event, so we're very excited.

me too me too! am cutting out at my house in SLO, though. can't see myself driving from MRY to SB, and then back up to SLO in one day... even if I'm in a MINI.
I suppose I should find my NAM sticker and tape it to my window... hmm. [no semi-perm stickers on MY MINI!!!] although if I can't find it... I'll just tape an index card with NAM on it n my username. could be easier. :P
Though I am still not official (no bracelet) I am doing the Vegas leg but starting from my house on route.
For Vegas leg people I tried to tell MINI about this but haven't seen any update. Part of the route they have listed is closed. The 138 is closed from the 18 on so it does not connect to the 15. The detour sucks because you have to backtrack many miles, drive through Victorville and its got a lot of traffic on the two lan road. I know the area so if you are interested I would suggest instead of their detour take the 138 to the 18 to the 395 make a left onto 395 then a right onto Airbase road (this changes names but since its straight you won't notice) go to the end and make a right onto National Trails (?) Highway that will take you right to the 15. This cuts off about 10+ miles from your trek and Airbase road is 4 lanes and 60MPH and has a lot less traffic.
