Ok, I shouldn't even be announcing this, it's so lame at this point, but I thought others might be interested enough to either encourage me or to help. I threw together a quick KMZ archive for Google Earth that currently lists the cities comprising the major MTTS stops. I'd like to expand this to include actual points for start/finish locations, as well as the routes to be taken. It's available here; just download it and open in Google Earth. If it's worthwhile, I'll continue to update the file in that location and also this thread.
If you can highlight the routes, that would be amazingly cool

Ok, updated with routes and start/finish points for days 1-3, including the alternate jog along Route 66 in AZ.
How about adding another way point for the SCMM club's rest stop just south of Barstow, CA on day 2.
The club will be offering cold water and a goody bag to all that stop.
There is a large Outlet Mall at this stop and they have offered the club one of their parking lots and the use of a vacant store in the mall near the mall's restrooms. Very convenient.
The general coordinates are 34 51 00 N & 117 15 04 W.

Agro, the Sin City MINI Club president, is proposing a alternative twisty route from Vegas to Flagstaff. There is a discussion of this route on the SCMC forum here on NAM. Here's Agro's map:
Can you add this?

Thanks for the feedback, kids. My primary computer's in the shop. If I can limp along with my old one, I'll try to do some more work this weekend, otherwise it'll have to wait 'til Monday. :-(
I dig that alternate route to Flag; the route through Bagdad is pretty cool (watch out for cattle!) and the back way into Prescott is gorgeous, as is the run through Sedona (provided traffic isn't too killer). Man, I'm jealous, now!

Yeah, the Arizona clubs dub the route from US 93 to Bagdad the "twelve miles of terror." The Sin City Club ran it last year and had a great time. Your google earth map is really nice, how do you create the kmz file?

I created a folder in the "places" area on the left for MTTS where I dumped the routes (which I generated with the help of GPSVisualizer) and points. Then you right-click on the folder and save it. Pretty simple! :-)
I vividly remember the first time I was on 97, Northbound from 93. I was on a group motorcycle ride, and the organizer of the ride went over the edge on one of the first turns. We reconvened at the intersection of 96 and 97 and everyone was like "Where's Jim?" A bunch of us went back to look for him, but fortunately he was able to crawl back up the embankment and flag down a car that was coming along. He'd broken his arm and got airlifted from the Bagdad high school's football field.
