I will be at Bear Mountain cruising with my fellow 1-addicts. We will start from Perkins Memorial Drive (top of the hill) at 10am and proceed from there at 10:15am. I will be in a white 135i for this run. It should be a small group 3-4 cars so Minis are absolutely welcome!

No one seems to read my posts but I had a blast at Bear Mtn today with my 1addicts group. Minis were absolutely invited and the roads were fantastic despite the mist and fog.

Hopefully we can get better organized and a get a run together soon!

I never been to Bear Mountain yet, and all my other friends went while I was at Universal Technical Institute [Auto School for those who don't know, lol ] but next Sunday I can possibly do, coming up from Somerset NJ though, so it'll be a hike to just make it

 

That is a bit of a hike, See if you could find a/some MINIS or other cars to come up with you. I make the Trip from Connecticut, Bear MTN really is an amazing place with some awesome roads! Lets see how many people we can get Confirmed before anyone journeys there


Also, how does Sunday the 24th sound to everyone? I'm going to a poker tournament at Foxwoods this sunday afternoon with a friend. I could do that after the drive, but it would be A LOT of miles in one day.

 

I'm too busy at the moment to set something up. As for the 24th, I already have a run planned for the 23rd so that is out for me. But When I find a good date then I could probably get 10 MINIs to go (Some for your neck of the woods in CT, as well).

how early by chance. I'm doing a MPG run this tank [because I have no moola for the rest of the week hit 38.8mpg already though ] so I may not be able to make it, lol.

lol, well, I am seeing how long I can make this tank last me, lol. shifting at 2,000-2,600RPMs, light footed, out of sport mode. it actually feels good doing it oddly enough. I only floored it once to merge, other than that, I've been driving like a complete grandpa, lol. I am aiming for about 1.5-2 weeks on this one!

 

ok i'd be in for a run to Bear Mountain - add a stop at Perkins Memorial Drive too for a great view! Keep me posted!

 

Awesome, that may be one of the roads we've taken. Im not too familiar with the area mini845 usually leads the way
