Wino Run 3 - Sunday, Sept.20th

We are doing our third wine run!

Sept. 20th, Sunday 10:am
Wine Tasting at Palaia Vineyards in Highland Mills, NY , and NY's oldest winery, Brotherhood in Washingtonville, NY.
Sorry 21 and older only for this run as children are not allowed in the tasting room at Palaia.
http://www.brotherhoodwinery.net/index.html and http://www.palaiavineyards.com/

We start at 10am and will meet at 2 stops along the way. The first meeting place is Edgewater Commons 495 River Road, Edgewater NJ 07020 by the McDonalds
There is a McDonalds and Starbucks in the shopping center if you need food and or java! There is a gas station right at this light also. We leave here at 10am sharp (I will be there from 9 am until 10 am).

Second meeting place at about 10:40 is: Nyack Hot Bagels & Deli in the HUB Shopping Center 320 Route 59
Nyack, NY 10960
This is a smaller parking lot we'll find each other. Departing 11:30 sharp!
This is where I am getting breakfast and my lunch to bring and eat at Brotherhood since neither winery serves cafe style food. Although Palaia has a light fare such as cheese & crackers, Chocolate, fruit & breadsticks. I will be bringing cheese & crackers also to eat at Brotherhood for all of us. Check the map for the route please... There is a gas station by Brotherhood also if you need gas for the ride home.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?oe=UTF-8&ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=110897789185502247799.0 0047361a768277e404dc&ll=41.785649,-74.045105&spn=1.034205,2.463684&z=9
Any questions please PM me or reply to this post... but not after 9am the morning of the run as I will be setting up for it.

Hi Mote,
I reviewed your pictures from the last wine run and the videos look great. I just checked with "The Boss" and she said we can go, so count me in.

From the pictures it almost looks like you were there! Maybe "ButterCup" will come again on this run and "Itsy" can meet it's twin!

Hee hee...yes, when I was looking at the pix I guess I wouldn't have to tell you that I expanded all the images of the Liquid Yellow Mini. It has much nicer paws than mine, although I have to tell you that I've been looking at replacing my rims with white ones similar to "ButterCup's". Those video's are just awesome. I called my wife over to view them with me and told her that the next time they have a wine run I want to go!

cya on Sunday.

Then you will love this pic we took the day she got ButterCup... P.S. She is constantly cleaning the break dust off the rims everyday!

Looking foward to meeting everyone! I will bring you a map of the route and meetup stops for the run to Perkins Sunday.

Wow! someone really has a knack for finding a beautiful setting for a Mini picture...that is awesome! Needless to say it's the Mini that makes it !
Hey...I have the original dull silver metal rims with the round holes in them..ugh!...and I'm out there everyday cleaning the brake dust off mine, so I might as well spiffy up his paws a little in the process if I'm going to continue with the pedicure treatments. What year is "ButterCup"? Mine is a 2004.

+1 Jim. It was an Outstanding day...and who will ever forget the white knuckle run through the park with the switchback curves. It took me over 5 minutes to peel Dorothy's fingers off the door handle!

And Peggy if you're around, check your PM. We really appreciate all the efforts you put into this event. It was just awesome!

Steve the Wine was great and prices were not bad, I picked up 4 bottles for about 50 bucks.
The ride was really great, perfect weather, great roads and great people, and may I add some pretty impresive driving on the twisties.
Looking foward to next week in the Hamptons

I don't want to butt in but Sharon has been emailing me to try to help her find people that had signed up on NEMINI so I have her email for you...
seatrax@optonline.net
Also it is posted on USMINICLUB here.... http://www.usminiclub.us/index.php/topic,1025.0.html

Make sure you email her because I think it might be to late for dinner reservations, but you could still do the scavenger hunt.
