Prestige MINI and mods

I just wanted to know if Prestige MINI has ever given anyone here a hard time for mods; such as intakes and exhausts when doing warranty work. I've been wanting to install a intake and new exhaust on my R56 but have been afraid to because Im unsure how they will respond, some dealers are a real pain when it comes to mods. Thanks

Seems like dealers always grumble. I went in for warranty work just last month to have the motor mount replaced and the tech make a comment on my records that I had aftermarket wheels and non-runflats on my Mini. WTF does my wheels have on the price of tea in China, anyway?

Just ignore 'em!

Prestige always tells me there is $100.00 diagnostic fee when I bring in my car for a problem because my car has a lot of mods. They never charge me if it is a warranty item. There service department is top notch and never have any problems there.

Prestige never hassled me about my intake, but they conveniently lost the screws for it when they changed my wiper motor...
