May 2nd Winery Run from Paramus NJ to Warwick NY

It's that time of year and Spring has Sprung... so ! Saturday May 2nd starting at 10am we are doing a wine run! We are going to Demarest Hill Winery and Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery. Both are in Warwick, NY. A nice ride up Route 17 with some great twists and turns through the mountains on very mini friendly roads. Both (award winning) wineries have wine tasting rooms and sell a large variety of wines & distilled beverages, Between the two, you could get anything from draft cider to grappa & balsamic vinegar. Warwick Winery will be the second winery to hit because they have live music outside on the patio or inside if the weather isn't so great. The music is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Afterwards those who wish to can go to dinner at a little Italian restaurant we know of in the area.

At about 7:40 we are going to head to the Warwick drive in movie theater for the 8:10pm movies.

It is up to you what movies you want to watch (there are 3 screens). If you wish you can stay at the there for the second feature for free.

You can join us for the all day motoring from start to finish, or join us for bits and pieces of it.

The only thing we ask is to please reply to the post on Minis-on-the-Edge.org if you are a member or e-mail us at administrator@minis-on-the-edge.org please post or email us on what parts of the run you are going to join us in. The more information you give, the more organized we can be!

It was a beautiful sunny day in Warwick. Nice ride, lots of nice curves and turns in the mountains and virtually pot hole free. Bought and tasted some good wines. I hope to do it again soon.
