BRITFEST '09

Hi Everybody,

I just got this flyer. Looks like another great fun event for a MINI turnout in New Jersey.

When: Saturday, May 2, 2009 (9AM - 3PM)
Spectator Admission: $3.00, children under 12 free
Location: Horseshoe Lake Park, Roxbury Twp, Recreation and Municipal Complex, 73 Eyland Avenue, Succasunna, NJ 07876

Featured Marques: British

Door prizes, Swap Meet, Vendors, Car Corral, Tech Sessions, and Food Catered by Bon Appetit.

If you want to register your car for the show...please email me at lorindailey@yahoo.com and I will forward the information to you.

Wow! $3.00 for a British Car Show on a Saturday and kids under 12 is free. Another "DRIVE and EAT" event with MINIs.

Thanks,

The 3 dollar spectator is just to view the cars, it's more to enter your car. Britfest is a great show, it's usually the season opener and in the past had been held at Moss Motors Jersey facility in Dover. Lots of great old LBC. We will be stopping in to pass out flyers for this years 6-Pack TRials festival, which we are running this year.

Cheers
Mr. Jim

Oops, sorry inmini, I didn't realize someone already posted about this one here. My bad.

I take it your going? Are you spectating or doing the 20.00 thing? If so have you been to this before? Is it possible to leave the car unattended and not worry about your car getting damaged? I've never done a car show before with a car so I don't know what to expect.

While anything can happen, leaving your car unattending generally isn't a problem. I've been to many car shows and the worst we've had to deal with is kid hand-prints... although most parents are pretty good about making sure their off-spring "look but don't touch".

Unfortunately, I already have another show scheduled.
