The MOALA Whittier White Knuckle run is scheduled for Saturday February 24. We will be meeting at the Starbuck's on the corner of Beverly and Norwalk in Whittier (5403 Norwalk Blvd) around 8:30 am with an approximate departure time of 9am.
The Whittier White Knuckle run is an exciting drive through the hills of Whittier, La Habra Heights, and Hacienda Heights and features sharp turns, sudden drops, and fantastic views.
We will also be making a brief stop at the Hsi Lai Buddhist Temple. Those that are interested will be allowed to wander around the grounds and gardens on their own. Sandals, mini skirts, and shorts are allowed on the grounds and in the gardens, but not inside the temple.
Weather Permiting, you guys may have a few "outsiders" showing up, including me. (note: i use the term "outsiders" jokingly! it'll be good to meet some more MINIacs!)
hey y'all... sorry i didn't make it out to the run today. but i had a good excuse- i got a rear sway bar installed- for free even! (the install, not the bar). i'm sure it was a lot of fun and hopefully we'll see some photos soon.
