The Asheville Chapter is planning our January dinner/meeting on Wednesday, January 19th at La Catarina Trattoria. This is open to everyone, not just M2C2 members!
We will meet at 6:00 pm in the parking lot of La Catarina Trattoria's on Elm Street in Asheville just off I-240 at the Merrimon Ave exit. The plans are to eat dinner at 6:30 pm. Entrees range from $12 to $20. Use the links below to check out the restaurant.
If you are interested, please reply to this thread or PM me. I'll need a head count by the 12th or so for reservations.

Wow!
A fine looking menu there! Will it be Manicotti Spinache or the Salsicce del Giorno? The Agnolotti Manzo sounds good, too. Decisions, decisions! This will be a great way to spice up the cold, dark days of January.
I've put this down on my calendar and hope to see a lot of MINI folks there.

Kevin,
I will try to make this but middle of the work week is kinda tough for those of us in the Hickory area. Monday the 17th is a holiday (MLK Day) for a lot of folks. Would you consider making it then or over the following weekend? Just a thought. I know it's hard trying to find a "perfect" time for such an event. Thanks for getting it together.

made my mark in the computer.
I will try to make it there.
If i am able to go there on that day, I will be leaving early in Atlanta and enjoy a full day snowboarding fun at Maggie Valley(45 minutes from Ashville).
Anyone up for a ski trip or snow meet up there?
I just got back from there yesterday. pretty good place, and a lot of people too!
Great drive on the short mountain roads too! too bad i was driving a 05 Jeep!

Big crowd today at the Cat, so much so they had to stop folks from coming in!
That has to be a first!

Eric,
We try to mix up our meetings so that we have some on weekdays and some on weekends. This one is pretty much set, but we'll keep this in mind for all the Hickory folks who might like to join in. The February meeting will be planned at the January dinner.

Mininc,
Give me a call on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon and we'll see if we can co-ordinate motoring up together if I can make it.

Ed --
I'm not so much "confused" as "not paying attention," I guess. Thanks for the clarification and I hope we'll all see you this morning at Century.

So what time are you coming past my exit, Ed? Is George coming from down your way? I've not heard from him in a while.

The plan is to head out about 5:00 or at least by 5:15, so, I should be going by the Upward Rd. exit on I-26 between 5:30 and 5:45. I talked to George, and he's planning on cruising straight up I-26 from Spartanburg.. I will have my cell phone on..
It will just be Donna and Me. Our friend had to cancel...
