Where: Gatlinburg, TN
Meet at 4:00PM for an early dinner at the Greenbrier Restaurant. Anyone skipping the meal can meet us at the Mountain Bank parking lot at the corner of Newman Rd and 321 at 6:00 to 6:30.
Part One: Show off vewy scawy Meanies in a vewy slow drive up and down the Parkway in Gatlinburg.
Part Two: Regroup and tour twisted backroads with a music CD designed to enhance the darkness.

Sorry I haven't been in touch lately guys. To answer all questions, I will be arriving Saturday due to a previous engagement Friday night (shooting for noon or early afternoon, will call one of you when I get there), still dont know what to do with the mini (I have one good thought though), I will bring the camera for pics of everything, and I'm doing well but been a little busy with court.
So, I will see you all Saturday! I hope you are all doing well.

Sheroyn may not be able to do BOO this weekend; but TILLEY and I plan of being there; we'll be coming up Friday; might like to meet up with any Friday "goers" along the road. Charlotte will be coming into I26 from I85 I'm guessing; could meet somewhere like the NC welcome center and reststop just about Spartanbury??
Saw the rock slide news! Boomer! My plan will be to leave I-40 and Waynesville and go Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Gatlingburg. I know it'll be slow due to the mountain road, but should be fun in the MINI. Anyone interested in meeting at the NC visitor center (just over the SC line)? Does anyone (QueenB) have any guesses on the weather Saturday evening??
If leaving on Friday, when does everyone want to meet Jim -- still hoping his lovely wife will go. I am on call until 8 am that morning, so we could motor on anytime after that.

Let me know what time you want me to be at your house saturday morning and I can carry your kids strollers for ya in my car. Mine is in the shop took it today will get it back tomorrow wednesday I hope. Needs water pump, thermostat, and small oil leak plus a major little tune up. 93,5oo miles and haven't replace front brake pads or sparkplugs, so I am working on that also. I am ready to BOO even though we have to go the long way round, but its MINI road friendly.

The closest "by-pass" around the rock pile is #19 to 441 thru Cherokee and into Gatlingburg. As I remember it seems like a 1000 miles that way, but I guess for the MINIs it should be fun. DOT is saying cross over and pick I-26 up to I-81; then over to Knoxville; looks way out of the way. What ya think?? I could leave at any time. We're probably about the same distance from the NC visitor center; it just dawned on me that if you all take 74 out of Gastonia you'll probably hit 26 above the visitor center(???); if so, maybe meet at the Hendersonville/Batcave exit.
MAC thats right but we will still be south of the rest area in NC. As soon as the Hostital release Art from their clutch, we will start motoring. How about we meet on I-26 Upward Road exit for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel? Say 9:30 -1000am? What about that? We will tweak it as we go, my cell is 704 488 3331 Luke

I'm getting cold (wet) feet...What do ya'll think about the weather?? Suppose to rain most of Friday and all day Saturday. Can't dress out TILLEY in the rain!! Or maybe, screw the weather, let's just go and enjoy the weekend; even if we spend it in a pub girl watchin'! What's the vote??
Okay it looks like the plan is to head up I85 instead of I77 to I81. Where should I plan to meet up with Luke, Art and Lisa? Also, if someone has an extra radio that would be good. Mine are still in boxes out in the garage and I am not sure that I will be able to find them before Friday morning. I just tried to make reservations in the tower but I get no answer on the 800 number. Will try again in the morning. I am flying solo but looking forward to the ride.
Thursday: I am now booked for hotel and cannot cancel. Someone please get up with me about the hook up.
Also, check in time is 3PM for the towers. So it looks like we can take our time traveling. Just FYI
