Got it down on my calender. Suspose to stay home and take care of the dogs, but they can go a few hours without me.

Sorry Shelley....I can only "get off" () one weekend a month so I won't be able to make it to your party! Hope you have a great time!

Dennis and Art-I just hate it that you both have to work and I really tried to get it on a weekend that would suit the most and wouldn't effect any other MINI event. It was tough and may end up not being a good idea afterall. Well maybe the neighbors will come.

This work thing is DEFINITELY getting in the way of my social life!!!! I hate it that I have to miss what I'm sure will be THEE party of the millennium! Maybe I'll catch a 24 hour strain of that flu called the "M2C2" flu....much less serious and TONS more fun than the "H1N1" flu....and crash the party! Don't forget the foot long corn dogs!!!!

Hey Susan, I just spoke with Shelley and the pumpkin carving will take place there. I was thinking of pricing those fake carvable pumpkins at Michaels....less mess. I think the rain is suppose to go away after the morning and it will be rain or shine.

Good News! I just went to Harris Teeter at the Arboretum and they had bins of large pumpkins for $3.99 each. I guess I'll be carving after all.

Sorry I missed the party... had to babysit the grandkids and of course they were sick.

Maybe we should make this an annual event...
