Need someone to do Mini upgrades

Does anyone know of anybody who does work on 2002 Mini Coopers in the Gastonia, NC area or near that area? I have some a new emergency brake handle and a few other minor things to be done.

I also need to know of a good window tint company in the area. I just moved here and I am not very familiar with the area.

Thanks,

ssigmon

I am looking at doing more performance upgrades (intake, suspension, crossbrace, etc.) and have seen Grassroots Garage and Sneeds Speed Shop. Does anyone have experience with either them or know of anyone near Charlotte/Concord?

Dan has installed lowering springs, adaptors for gauges and done routine maintenance on my Clubman. Other members have had engine, suspension and other mechanical work done by Dan.

Dan is the man. Better question would be....Is there anything he can't do to improve MINI performance?. Easy answer -- No

Beware alot of people say they can work on MINIs but haven't a clue. Dan is a certified Mini Tech. For example a member had pully installed in Columbia SC. They used cheap pully puller and gouged the end of shaft. Pully was put on and worked but belt squealed. We had Waylon from Way Motor works look at it and he said is was not all the way on. Took it off filed the end off and put it on and fixed the problem. This was after she drove it all the way to Copper Mtn Colorado. Way has his shop in Atlanta, Way Motor Works.com but your best closest is Dan at Grassroots in Thomasville. Hope you like BBQ! I stand corrected the pully was ruined and he replaced it with another. Talked to her yesterday and she said there was a world of difference in the 2 pullys. She loves the new one and knows that it was put on correctly and the old one taken off correctly with a person who is Mini Tech qualified and has the right tools to perform the maintenance.
