2nd Quarterly Meeting will be in Asheville at the Flat Rock Grille at 1302 Hendersonville Rd from 1:00-Close.
"Flat Rock Grille was created for the seafood enthusiast but there's much more to it than that. We have an excellent selection of high quality beef dishes, chicken dishes and salads, as well. Everything is prepared fresh daily and the soups and desserts are all made from scratch. Our focus is great food being served by friendly people and we have just one simple rule: make sure every guest leaves happy."
Unfortunately, I am currently on call for that weekend.

jbell2r will probably be leading the CLT people. We usually meet at the BP just across river bridge at weight station. Hwy 27 exit turn right but you need to get up with him for that. I will not be making this trip.

That works for me. Anyone from Charlotte planning on attending plan on meeting at the BP at exit 27 off I 85 about 10:15 am. We will plan on leaving about 10:30.
I had pretty much made plans to go to minisontop. The best way to get a good crowd is post early and get everyone time to put it on their schedule. Be 1st Quarterly meeting I have missed in over 4 years, oh well, I shall return.

John,
For a little more scenic and fun route to Asheville we could take 74 to 221 up to Rutherfordton and pick up 74/64 again on into Asheville through Lake Lure. It would add about 30 minutes to the drive. Here's a link for the route. We could even pick up Floyd and Sharon. http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&sourc...07117&t=h&z=13
If we leave Exit 27 by 10:00 AM we can be in Lake Lure by around 11:30. That'll give us an hour or so to follow Floyd and Sharon through whatever route they devise to the meeting and lunch. Tut Tut, sounds like fun!

By all means....take the scenic route and pick us up! Floyd and I can probably come up with a scenic route in from Lake Lure that will avoid the interstate! Give us a rendezvous time and we'll be there....we could meet you in that parking lot in front of the lake or at the Lake Lure Visitor Center that has a big parking lot on the lakeside.
Sharon,
How 'bout we make it 11:30-ish in the big parking lot by the lake. If we leave Exit 27 by 10:00 we should be in Lake Lure by then. See youse guys then!
Done and done. We will be at that first parking lot you come to on the right (where we took pictures of our minis in front of the lake for Floyd's Fall Fabulous whatchamacallit run). Can't wait to see you guys! Stay safe!
sorry for this. i will not be able to make this, my brothers son is having a birthday party sat. and right now, family has to come first. hope to see all of you later.
charles
I won't be there unfortunately, David is in class.. and he has to work tomorrow.. I'm not up to driving all the way up by myself..

OK all you early birds. Last chance for a beautiful drive through the mountains to Asheville this morning. See John's post above where to meet at 9:45 am and leave by 10:00.
I won't be able to make it today. I am going to my uncle's funeral in Graham, N.C. Have a good drive and meeting.
