Moved

So am now living in Charlotte. Am on the road most of the time right now. Will be back in town 6/12-6/18. Will keep an eye on the group hoping a meeting will fall on that week. Haven't heard back about my application yet, hopefully soon.

Looking forward to meeting some new friends and doing some motoring.

Welcome to the Queen City, or as I call it, "The City of MINIs!" Hope to see you around town, and at events coming up. There's a road trip up to Mt. Mitchell coming up at the end of next month with TarHeel MINIs, and M2C2 is getting together at the British Car Day at the Mint Museum. See ya around!

Welcome jabell2r. It will take a few weeks to get your membership package as the Secetary computor crashed. Our next meet n eat will be 6-19-07 at a site to be determined by Charlotte VP. We also hold a breakfast once a month and ususally hang out at Hendricks Mini afterwards. Again welcome! Who do you drive for? I retired after 35 years trucking and 31 of them with Harris Teeter Supermarkets. Luke President Mini Motoring Club of Carolinas.

Working for CRST. Hoping to be doing something more local in the coming months but need to get some experience at this first. Unfortunately I am due back out on the road on the 18th. Wouldn't mind this otr thing if Audrey could tag along with me. Well I hope to see you all soon.

Hey, I'm from Cedar Rapids and know those guys who founded the company, and unfortunately got into some stoopid antics so long ago. Was just back in CR over the weekend visiting friends. Whenever I see a CRST or Heartland Express truck, I still say, "Iowa!" ;-) BTW, if you can't tell, I'm a dork. ;-)

Looking forward to seeing you at an event soon. BTW, stopped on the interstate on the trip back from IA, met a "driver" from Jevik, she said they have a big distribution center here and run a lot of big trucks out of here. Her rig looked nice and she was, too. Just an idea for something local.
