Some of you have ran an Autocross before, for others this might be your first time. You will have a blast!
This is a small reminder for the people that have not done this before:
Each person in the car on the Autocross must wear a helmet. If you have a helmet, make sure to bring it with you to Winona. The Sports Car Club that is running the event will have a limited number of helmets available for you to borrow if you do not have one of your own.
Also, prior to running the event, there will be a technical inspection of your car to make sure that you will not have any problems running the event. You will want to make sure you have your tires inflated properly as well as any other obvious problems. The club will deem your car fit to run.
We will be splitting the group into two groups for the Autocross. Half the group will run the track, the other half will work the track doing safety and cone re-sets. Please remember to bring sun screen and/or a hat, for when you are working the track you will be in the sun for significant periods of time.
The full details will be in the event booklet you will receive when you get here.
